Army Alms Opsec Level 1 – For all of the Army’s training needs, there is the Army Learning Management System (ALMS), a web-based, self-service learning management and course content management system. The Learning Management System (LMS) is a collection of programs used to organize, carry out, record, evaluate, and report on educational activities. Individual performance statistics can be viewed, and users can link up with others in their class or organization to share knowledge and information. The ALMS is being used by the US Army to improve training and development accessibility, to provide a more adaptable and responsive education management system, and to guarantee that all training and development efforts are strategically aligned. The ALMS will facilitate the Army’s centralized training administration and execution by providing a modernized systems-of-record. The Army’s major system for keeping track of people’s training records, units’ training schedules, and people’s progress through courses is called the Army Learning Management System (ALMS).
